Country:

Background:

I am a graduate of the William Esper Studio in New York City. As an actor, I have a demonstrated history of working in the performing arts industry, including the Theatre, Television and Film. After a car crash in 2012, through recovery I started researching meditation and various breathing methods. Exploring Transcendental Meditation, Pranayama, the Wim Hof Method and Stan Grof’s Holotropic Breathing Method, I began to understand the extraordinary power of the breath.

Why I Practice & Teach Meditation:

I am interested in trying to help people with many conditions such as PTSD, ADHD, trauma, panic, mania and anxiety, stress and insomnia. Even with healthy individuals, many find they can take their lives to another level through breath retraining.

Through working with people from all walks of life, from musicians, to actors, to police, parents and business folk, all have helped to bring a heightened awareness that human beings often can have very different needs. With discipline and commitment, I work with a holistic approach. I combine both the Buteyko Method and Pranayama and aim to adapt the breathing techniques and patterns that suit the needs of each person I work with. From children to adults, couples and small groups, I have taught in Ireland, New York and at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California.

I found the science in Buteyko Method fascinating and was taught by Patrick McKeown of The Buteyko Clinic International, Galway, Ireland. With a keen interest also in Yogic practices, I added certification in Pranayama through Michaël Bijker of Yogalap (Yoga Alliance), Sagres, Portugal.
